Getting older is not for wimps!

Bit by bit the physical, social, and economic options of life close in. Yet, do the restrictions of aging hold within them the hidden gift of a wide and deep new reality in Christ?

In this morning event we lovingly share together the wisdom we are learning on the way, and look at a key biblical figure that has a lot to say about this beautiful, maturing, and generative season of life.

The retreat asks:

  1. What are both the challenges and beauty of this season of life?
  2. What treasure has formed in us over the decades and during this season?
  3. Who has God put around us to whom we are being called to bequeath our treasure?

This retreat is offered primarily for empty nesters and those in their retirement years.

The morning will be structured around reflections on our theme, along with time to be alone, reflect, laugh, share, hear from God and just experience God’s care.
